My name is Jake, and my passion is learning languages (and helping others to do so).

I started learning Spanish 18 years ago in middle school but really fell in love with languages in college.
I lived in a Spanish immersion house, where I connected with the other language groups, learning as much of their languages as I could. I picked up French pretty quickly and decided to live in the French house after 8 months in Madrid. Most of my college free time was spent picking up new languages, becoming a proper "polyglot." Throughout this time, I worked with several students in multiple languages, helping them learn as quickly as possible using what worked for me. Now, I'm looking for new students to not only teach whatever language they want to learn (that I speak) but also coach them in the art of language learning.
